The full design service is usually carried out over three stages. However these stages can be tailored to your individual requirements and we can come in and out of a project as required.

Each stage usually takes between 10-30 hours, depending on the scale of the site, budget and size of project. We are happy to work within a set number of hours within each stage to suit your requirements and budget. 

 

Our hourly rate for design work is $125 + GST per hour.

 

Travel outside Lower Hutt is charged at $0.95/km + GST.

We work with reputable landscapers who are selected depending on the project requirements and their specialities.

Stage 1

 

• Visit the site, discuss the design brief with you.

• Measure up and photograph the site 

• Draft a landscape concept plan that includes layout of gardens and landscape features, planting suggestions and ideas and hard landscaping materials etc.

Stage 2

 

• Finalise the landscape concept plan.

• Draft a plant list, including maintenance schedule and detailed planting plan.

• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications schedule of works for contractor pricing. 

• Additional hours and costs may be involved at this stage if Council consents are required. 

• Pricing by contractors.

Stage 3

​

• Oversee installation of project as required.
