Cat Rawnsley is an award-winning garden designer based in Wellington, New Zealand.
Her rural upbringing and passion for being connected to nature inspired her to renounce her successful career as a lawyer and retrain as a garden designer.
Cat studied design at the renowned Inchbald School of Design, London where she received a Distinction for her Garden Design Diploma. She also holds a Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture from The Royal Horticultural Society in London, which she passed with Commendation.
Cat has a design studio in her backyard, where she looks out onto a century year old Golden Pohutukawa tree covered in native birds and watches her bees collect nectar for her home-grown honey.
Inspired by beautiful, functional gardens, Cat brings this passion to all her designs, working with clients to realise their aspirations for their outdoor spaces.
Cat works closely with her clients in developing the brief and provides creative, robust solutions that transform outdoor spaces into beautiful, wildlife friendly environments.
Cat Rawnsley Design offers a friendly, bespoke service tailored to suit your aspirations.
Whether you are looking for inspiration and advice, a revamp of your existing planting or a complete transformation of your garden, we would love to help you create your dream garden.
